About us

Eagle's Nest Ministries us a non-denominational word-of-faith, multi-cultural Ministry based in Richards Bay, Empangeni and Darnall.

Pastors Cecil and Rachel Pillay are thr founders of Eagle's Nest Ministries.

Pastor Cecil Pillay was instructed by God to teach the word of God to the Body of Christ with simplicity and understanding.

In March 1999, Eagle's Nest Ministries heldd it's first worship service at the Empangeni Hospital in Union street with only 12 members. The attendance grew rapidly and as a result the church relocated to a modest-sized basement in Tanner Road, Empangeni. On 7 July 2001 a second church was started in Richards Bay with only 4 members.

In 2003 Eagle's Nest purchased a church site in Birdswood, Richards Bay and plans to build our place of worship have been passed by the City Council in Richards bay.

Our church has established several dynamic ministries designed to:

• Guide and support believers
• Connect and establish relationships
• Give and receive encouragement
• Grow and change
• Love and forgive

At Eagle's Nest:

We believe that

• Jesus is the Son of God and that He was crucified, died and was buried. On the third day He rose from the dead and ascended into Heaven, Where He remains at the right hand of God Almighty.

We believe -

• After death eternal life begins either in Heaven or Hell. Where you spend eternity is based on your decision to live according to God's word - The Bible - or to rebeel against it

We believe -

• When the Rapture occus, the dead in Christ will rise first, and those who are alive and remain will be caught up to meet the Lord Jesus Christ in the air.

We believe -

• The Bible is the written and inspired word of God.

We believe that

• faiith is acting on the word of God

We believe

• in water baptism in the name of the Father, Son an Holy Spirit. We believe in Jesus and the auuthority in his name.

We believe

• in the indwelling, and baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues.

We believe

• in divine healing - the restoration of health to those who believe and act on the truths written in God's Word. We further believe that jesus is ouur Healer, and that by His stripes we are already healed.

We believe

• tithes and offerings should be freely given to your local church. The local church is the place of partnership Where God has called you to recieve His Word on a constant basis annd grow spiritually.

We believe

• in giving alms to the poor, sick, homeless and others in despair.
